Hainault 'sword attacker' who called himself a 'mystic' and dressed up as Robin Hood

Marcus Aurelio Arduini Monzo, a dual Spanish and Brazilian national living in Newham, east London, was remanded in custody today after being charged with the murder of football-loving teenager Daniel Anjorin. The amateur musician and 'mystic' is also accused of two counts of attempted murder, two of grievous bodily harm, aggravated burglary and possession of a bladed article. Today's court hearing heard the prosecution case about how the 22-minute rampage unfolded.

In a statement posted on Instagram, Lisa said: 'I don't know how to say this because it's still really raw. I probably should be really angry but I'm just incredibly sad about the whole thing right now. I don't think I've ever cried so much. Jeremy Clarkson has gone so green, I thought he was going to quote Greta Thunberg: CHRISTOPHER STEVENS gives five stars to the new series of Clarkson's Farm - read his glowing review

Jeremy Clarkson once claimed that global warming whingers made him want 'to shoot a polar bear in the middle of its face'. He says he watches David Attenborough documentaries as a drinking game, chugging a beer every time climate change is cited. So the 64-year-old presenter and petrolhead is an unlikely champion for green farming. Yet, as Clarkson's Farm (Amazon Prime) returns - his improbably popular telly diaries of muddles and mishaps on his 1,000-acre Oxfordshire rustic retreat - he is teaming up with a millionaire pop raver to promote 'regenerative agriculture'. Simply put, this means cutting back on chemicals and planting a mix of arable crops to coax the land back to health. His conversion seems about as plausible as Chris Packham commentating on F1, but he is in earnest. What an irony if Clarkson becomes the chief ambassador for back-to-nature politics - though, on the other hand, no one could have predicted before Amazon Prime launched this show in 2021 that he would be the man to make farming look fun and even cool.

Revealed: Serial dine-and-dash solicitor was struck off for ordering £43 Just Eat takeaway

Kerry Ann Stevens claimed she had already paid online for the Just Eat order from a kebab shop but this was a lie and the innocent driver had the cost deducted from his wages, a professional tribunal heard. Ms Stevens was found guilty of two counts of fraud at a magistrates court and has now been thrown out of the profession after the tribunal found her guilty of misconduct for her 'premeditated and deliberate' acts. Due to her profession, she would have been in 'no doubt whatsoever' that she was committing a crime , the panel found. The hearing of the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal was told that in January 2021, Ms Stevens ordered £43.47 worth of food from a kebab shop via the Just Eat app.

Donald Trump claims immigration has left Sadiq Khan's London 'unrecognisable' after Europe 'opened its doors to jihad' and vows 'never to let that happen' in the US in his latest swipe at capital

Ex-president Donald Trump told a crowd of supporters that mass immigration has rendered London and Paris 'unrecognisable' because Europe 'opened its doors to jihad' before adding that he would never allow the same thing happen to the US. These latest comments point to a long-running feud that Trump, 77, has had with London Mayor Sadiq Khan , who is up for reelection on May 2 against a Conservative opponent who he has likened to the Republican candidate for the Oval Office. 'We've seen what happened when Europe opened its doors to jihad. Look at Paris, look at London, they're no longer recognisable,' Trump told supporters in a May Day rally in Wisconsin as he hit the campaign trail away from his legal troubles.

'We've built loads of these… so we're pretty good at it!' Toe-curling moment millionaire American owner of £365m Co-Op Arena calls it a 'marvel' and quotes Rick Astley just hours before disastrous opening

Tim Leiweke then put his arm around an excitable BBC reporter and promised 'we're never gonna give you up, never gonna let you down' - a nod to Rick Astley who was playing in the first gig that night. But those words would come back to haunt and humiliate the 57-year-old multi-millionaire, whose grand opening has been an unmitigated disaster. Hours later there were chaotic scenes when thousands of fans turned up to watch 80s idol Astley perform only to find out their tickets had been cancelled without notice. Behind the scenes Leiweke was said to be incandescent over the scandal - and despite the horseplay in his BBC interview - there were signs of problems because he stood there with his arms crossed and said with a hint of desperation: 'I'm just trying to get it open'.

Which is your favourite Omaze mega-mansion? Perhaps it's the £2.5million 'Forest House' in Dorset, complete with woodland views, tropical landscaping, a lot of very shiny windows and an outdoor shower, which is the prize in this month's property raffle. Or last month's seven-bedroom Cheshire pad, with gym and cinema room. Or you might still be pining for either the £3million sandstone villa in Mallorca in a 'palette of creams, off-whites and earth tones', or the £3.5million Scotland house, festooned with fake fur throws, which were up for grabs recently. But with so many of the winners selling up, what is it REALLY like to be picked in this much-coveted prize-draw?

Britain braces for rush hour thunderstorm chaos: Met Office issues 12-hour weather warning

Britain will be hit by further thunderstorms today with the Met Office issuing an urgent 12-hour warning on what is set to be the warmest day of the year so far. An alert covering central England and parts of Wales will run from noon until midnight tonight with up to 2in (50mm) of rain expected to fall in just two hours. Forecasters said spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and road closures, with a 'small chance that some communities become cut off'. More delays and cancellations to train and bus services were also possible, along with power cuts and a loss of 'other services' to some homes and businesses. The Met Office also warned homes and businesses 'could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds'. It comes after more than 35,000 lightning strikes lit up the skies of southern England overnight - two of which destroyed the roofs of properties in West Sussex. But temperatures could reach 24C (75F) in parts of the South East today, following a high of 22.1C (71.8F) yesterday which was the warmest UK temperature yet for 2024.

Dog fighting is 'more lucrative than dealing drugs': Organisers say prize pots for winning owners can hit £100,000 - with animals starved and given ecstasy to make them 'work better', Channel 4 documentary reveals

Illegal dog fights are 'more lucrative than dealing drugs' with winning owners earning £100,000, according to a new documentary on the blood sport in Britain. The Channel 4 documentary called 'Untold: Inside Britain's Dog Fighting Gangs' features members of the underworld talking candidly about the illicit trade. The programme shows the aftermath of a dog fight between two London gangs which is likened to a 'murder scene' with blood covering the floor and walls. Filmed between London and the Midlands, the investigation shows trainers talking about losing 50 dogs to fights- detailing the harrowing injuries suffered. These include ears being ripped off, broken legs, stomach lacerations and perhaps most brutally of all 'snout breaking' where the dog can no longer use its mouth.

Voting begins in crucial local elections: Moment of truth for Rishi Sunak as Tory rebels

Polling stations are open with Tories fearing they could lose up to half of the council seats they are defending. As rebels prepare a fresh coup bid, Rishi Sunak (right) is hoping that two mayors - Ben Houchen in Tees Valley and Andy Street in the West Mids (inset top) - can hold on to give him positive news to trumpet. But the bleak wider picture was underlined today with a Westminster poll suggesting Keir Starmer's (top) Labour has a massive 26 point lead, with the Tories on 18 per cent - just three points ahead of Reform UK.

He died in March 2021, aged 77, and his four children - sons Graham, Charlie and Mike, and only daughter Lindsay - are now fighting in court over the validity of his last will. Mr Bond had given much of his fortune away before he died, but his final will, made in November 2019, handed nearly all of his remaining £12.3million to Charlie, 43, and Graham, 52. This left older siblings Mike, 53, and 55-year-old Lindsay with just £325,000 each.

Wouldn't want to mess with 'roo! As another kangaroo is spotted trying to 'drown dogs' it is just the latest in a series of attacks by the marsupials of mayhem

Another Kangaroo has been spotted trying to 'drown dogs' in the latest attack by the marsupials of mayhem, but experts have argued that this is unusual behaviour for the creatures, who have a natural 'flight response'. The disturbing footage, captured in Australia, showed a kangaroo standing in a creek as four dogs barked at it from the shore, before one of the pack lunged at the kangaroo, only to be knocked away in a tussle. But this wasn't the first time the usually docile animals have been caught throwing punches with the public, last year there was a string of viral videos, showing the beefed up animals caught in entanglements with locals and their pets. Rachel Leather, an animal behaviour expert, told MailOnline: 'We must remember Kangaroos are herbivores so they're not going to be aggressive in the same way that a predator would be. They are much more likely to flee rather than be aggressive, generally they will always choose flight given the option.'

LAPD officers trying to hold a skirmish line dispersed as they were earlier pushed back by a wave of protesters, who far outnumbered police and were holding umbrellas and makeshift shields. Soon after, hundreds of CHP officers were bussed to the campus as backup, cramming into a small walkway as they again attempted to breach the wall of people trying to prevent them from entering the encampment. More than one hundred protesters, many brandishing umbrellas, shields and wearing helmets, continued to resist the police advance into the quad area on the west side of Royce Hall, attempting to push them back as they had done before.
